Goodreads asked A.A. Chamberlynn:

How do you get inspired to write?

A.A. Chamberlynn I write when I need to write, and I don't believe in waiting around for inspiration to strike. Get the story out, and then you can edit to make it really shine. It's rare to get struck with true inspiration from your muse, otherwise people wouldn't speak about it with such awe. A glorious and magical thing when it happens, but it's not terribly often. If I waited for it, or tried to make it happen, I wouldn't get much written. I have plenty of fun with my writing even if I'm not riding a wave of inspiration in a particular writing session.
