Goodreads asked Sharon Hannaford:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Sharon Hannaford I have two 'go-to' cures for writer's block. One is to move onto another scene or section of the book I'm working on, often to something that's been niggling away in the back of my mind. I'm a pantser though, so it might not be the best thing if you like to write in a linear way. My other quick cure is a change of scenery, I pack up my Windows Surface and my notes and I find a café with good coffee and enough space that I don't feel like I'm taking up a table someone else is waiting for, order coffee and a treat and set to work. This little trick has often broken a word count drought for me.
