We started reading Etiquette and Espionage as part of our Family Summer Reading group (myself, my daughter and my husband), my daughter Kairie was so intrigued with Etiquette that she had to pick up Curtsies and Waistcoats as well. She wanted me to ask , how do you get the ideas for the young ladies outfits?

I'm curious about the larger repercussions of your Parasol universe, especially as time shifts toward modern times. Would WWI and WWII be different affairs with possibly different outcomes? Was Finishing School revived for the WWs? Would the Empire last longer and/or be more integrated and progressive? Does the USA ever become less anti-supernatural? Is Marine Biology a current-times part of the Parasol universe?
