Goodreads asked Scarlett Amaris:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Scarlett Amaris Ugh. I hate the sound of that word. Luckily it happens infrequently, but when it does generally it's be because I am overly tired and have been pushing too hard. A lot of times when I'm writing books I'm working on various screen projects at the same time and get a little creatively burnt out. When it happens I try and take some time off and get some sleep and read a little. Sometimes I'll go spend a couple of days out in the forest, or sleep up in the ruins of the castle near where I live. Little things which allow me to relax and recharge the creativity bank.
