As for the cartel characters, I used real names if the person was deceased ("It looks like they died of natural causes." "How you figure that, Sheriff?" "Natural to the lifestyle they was leading." Cormac McCarthy). In the case of the two main cartel figures in "Idiots"--Chuy Lazaro and El Animal Guzman--they are composites of drug honchos past and present. As you can guess, I didn't want to tempt fate by using the names of people who are still active in the game. All Best, Tony
