Not sure which you chose, but I loved the audio.

I am listening to the audio version and am really enjoying it. The narrator's voices for the different characters help play up the hallucinations and delusions in Caden's mind. The parrot, really sounds like a parrot--etc. I have both a hardcover purchased for my classroom library and the audible version I am listening to while I commute to work.
