I discovered this series after seeing the TV show. I absolutely love the show and am interested In starting the books but, was wondering how different they are. Are they very different? Since I love the show is there a good chance I'll like the books or are they just to different?

The books are pretty different than the show but IMO they are much MUCH better. Every book doesn't follow Elena and the wolves but they are all connected, all in the same world. Usually they are friends or allies with the other characters. I think if you like the show you should give the books a try. I read these books years ago but I still enjoy the show.
