I liked them both, very much. Wild was a bit more intense and emotional, but Almost Somewhere was just as unputdownable--I liked reading about another trail. And now am reading A Walk in the Woods, about the Appalachian Trail. Bryson has lots more digressions, but a lot of information. And it has been made into a movie!
