Goodreads asked Dawn Sister:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Dawn Sister Just write. Write, and write some more. Write on the backs of school books; write on scrap photocopy paper; write on paper towels and napkins; write when you have an idea, not when you get home, or when you can find a pen. Write all the time and never throw any of it away. Then start sharing it. Don't be scared, although it is hellish scary. You don't get better at something unless you practice.
