Isha It is as American as an Indian can be in the US.
Tiny The novel is written by an Indian shy guy who goes to the States to study further. So the novel is not 'American' since it reflects American culture as perceived by an Indian. The book though has descriptions of episodes that one might not encounter in India but the book was written with a sense of humor that is very entertaining.
