How can this book be a Fantasy book without having any element of magic in it?

CapesandCovers It's fantasy because it's a fictional world, with fictional places and ethnicities. Fantasy doesn't actually have to have magic in it, it's just that more often that not, it does, and therefore it gives the impression that fantasy = magic.
