I am looking for a good first book to introduce the philosophy of emptiness to a friend of mine who believes in a soul, but is intrigued by the possibility of no-soul. Do others think this is a good book to use? My friend has a long-standing meditation practice, it's just not a Buddhist meditation.

The book that I found was easy and comprehensible to read was 'The heart of Buddha's teaching' by Thich Nhat Hanh. It put a smile in my heart. and I would totally recommend it.
