I think it must have been somewhere near the end, when she has a nervous breakdown as a teenager after Nancy is murdered for the second time and she's secretly meeting Benjamin Cole. It's clear that she knows then that she can make changes as she goes on to 'rescue' Ted and bring him back to life (again).
