Either it was in his imagination, as something he'd loved to do, or the principal didn't report his assailant. The latter seems unlikely.

I had this same question. As someone commented earlier, his recounting of all these events is fairly suspect. Who can separate fact and fiction when told from the point of view of a person suffering from a mental disorder.
