A Goodreads user asked:
Lots of mixed reviews on here. Overall, is it a satisfying book?
Balázs Pőcze If I would be teenage now I'd say it was good, and somewhat satisfying, but now I don't feel so. I just finished it, because it wasn't that bad to put down.
John Marshall It's perfectly readable, and you won't feel as though your time was wasted, but it lacks the depth and complexity of Gaiman's other works. If you're not expecting much more than a potboiler, you'll be perfectly satisfied.
