First of all, I'm a big fan of you!!! I love watching your movie also! I'm working on a school project, and I'm asking you if you could tell me what you were interested in when you were a child?

D.J. MacHale Hmmm...that's a pretty broad question. What was I interested in? I wanted to be an astronaut. That's because the whole space program was so huge back then. But my vision wasn't very good, nor were my math skills so that was a no-go. I was very much in to sports. I played football and ran track. I was also a voracious reader. Mostly I read stories of the supernatural and macabre. And back then, as today, I loved movies. The first movie I saw in a theater remains my favorite film to this day. The Guns of Navarone. The first movie I saw in a theater WITHOUT a parent present, was Goldfinger.
