it ultimately seems in Bloodlines that Adrian and Sydney are meant for each other more than Rose and Adrian ever had. it also makes Sydney and Adrian's relationship even more forbidden, therefore even more addictive for them to continue and even more painful. also, Rose never actually loved Adrian back like he loved her, so in the end its cool that at least Adrian found himself his desired girl ;)
