Another good read in a similar vein is The Memoirs of the Hon. Henry E. MacFutter: The Ring of Truth, a lively tale that's set in the 1830s. There's romance, murder, mystery, humor, a duel, battles, and even sex in a canoe. Anyone read it?

Tony Haven't read your book Ken, no. Sounds like a fun one!
Mila Zommer Very primitive novel , maybe for teens not older than 13.
The book was chosen for local Book Club, so I read it and actually feel like I wasted my time.
People, go and read Classics and you would never be disappointed. That's why it named Classic. And the life is short to waste it on such "whatever"
Brian No, but you just sold a copy. Thanks for telling us!
