Think of your first draft as a gift to yourself. You can write anything scene you want because no one will see your first draft. Your first draft does not have to be perfect. Have fun with your characters. Write the wild and crazy conflicts that test their limits and yours. Drafting is not the time for story revision. Finish writing the book, first!
