Olivia :) asked:

How important is romance in this book? What kind of romance is it (as in soul mates, hate then love...) and are all the characters likeable?? thanks and sorry about all the questions :)

Liv Hi. I don't know what sort of romance you like, so i'll just give you the basic frame of it. The romance is part of the story, yes, but it isn't the focus of the novels. Compared to the rest of the story, romance actually takes a bit of a back seat in this, not that there's anything wrong with that.
Blue has always been told that if she kisses her true love, they will die, so she doesn't exactly go around making out with people. The last book isn't out yet, so i don't know how the romances (yes, it's plural) will turn out.
There is a romance between Gansey and Blue, and there is an implied attraction between two other characters (i won't say who), but it isn't the central focus.
As for the characters being likeable, again, it depends on your own personal preference. I, for one, love all the characters, Ronan and Adam in particular, but it differs from person to person. In general, each of the characters is unique, but all are interesting to read and learn about, and add to the story.
I hope this helps!
