Is this a stand alone book or will it be a series? I really don't want to start reading a book that is part of an unfinished series. GOT monopolized my patience in that category. Thanks guys!

Dirkje Abma It is not a stand alone. It is a trilogy, second book is: The Starkest Truth and the third book is: The Darkest Descension. You could stop reading after the first book, it does not leave you hanging, but the story continues and is worth of reading till the end.
