Each book has its own story but I always like to read in order to really get to know the characters and in case a book mentions something from a previous book, you always remember what it was.

Each book is a story in itself but there are backstroke happening at the same time. I don't think I have read them in any particular order and it has not bothered me and the current book. Hope this helps.
