My current work in progress began as a short story for submission to a magazine. At that time, the prompt was "abandoned towers". The story wasn't chosen, but I liked the character so much that I decided to revamp it into a novel. The abandoned towers that began it all now serve as the backdrop for Khali Rujan's tale of heartbreak and redemption.
