I always try to finish the books I read, but am having a very hard time with this one. The main character is shallow, snooty, and ungrateful, and not someone I'd like to meet any day. Does she have any redeeming qualities at all?

I think that's what the whole story is about. How the main character starts out to be shallow and finds that love does have a way of changing your life. I hope you finished this one.

I just started the story and am having a VERY hard time staying with it for just the very reason you pointed out.
