Paiawon -Apollo was a deity who was venerated by the Hittites who themselves were heavily influenced by the Hurrians. . Seen as a sun god and known in Mesopotamia as god of the gateways. Are the gateways referred to physical sacred entrances to cities ,palaces and temples or are they boundaries between heaven and earth itself ?
