I remember reading this book when I was in the third grade in elementary school. It has stayed with me all this years. Who, out there has read this book and remembers ALL of it? it is a fine piece of American literature and not PAP.

Not sure what you mean by "ALL" of it. I kept my (terribly old) copy of this book to read again because I found it later in life and realized I'd discovered a classic. I agree; not pap.
