maybe 14 and older, 13 if they're more on the mature side, especially when it comes to book 2!

14 and/or 15 is fine for just the first book. However, I wouldn't recommend the entire series for younger girls due to the explicit content in the later books. So, 17 and/or 18 would be the more appropriate age.
