James Marsh I get it. A lot of reading snobs out there dismiss novelisations as being simplistic and frivolous, but they can be quite interesting for fans of the films in question. Novelisations are commissioned at a relatively early stage of production, and often are based on an early version of the screenplay. Regularly this means that the novelisations differ from the final cut of the film, giving readers a glimpse and changed elements of the story, deleted scenes etc.
Mason Because Its a book, Why not If you already saw the movie? Also, Because there are a lot of Young adults who like Flight combat. The F-14 Is a well Known Plane and a lot of people might want to read a book that is based on that.
