Just reading the plot summary, and some reviews, this book is being panned as unoriginal. It's been compared to The Giver. But for me, this book made me think of Ira Levin's This Perfect Day. A very visionary book written back in the 70's. I have not read this book yet, and the reviews don't encourage me to do so, but am I on to something here?

Well, I read this book in one day and thought it was an ok book....and you could relate this book to The Giver but I don't think it's unoriginal.
