I don’t think so, but there is low-violence kidnapping, a spookily haunted house, and one incident involving a dangerous, driverless truck. If you are a more sensitive reader, I recommend the first book in the series, “The Secret of the Old Clock.”

I read this book when I was about 9-10, it's not that scary, but there may be some slightly creepy parts.

Nah, not so scary, but keep in mind there are several diff. 'versions' of the story as it's been highly edited throughout the years. For the best read, get the original. Nancy is much more of a risk-taker back then and there are lots of stereotypes galore.

I don't think so. I read it when I was ten I didn't find it scary, don't read it when your alone and your little though. You might be scared I don't know though it just depends.
