Agree. I 'started' reading John Sandford's novel with discovery of "Silken Prey" (Lucas Davenport #23) and it definitely intrigued me to read more of his novels. Now I just finished "Field of Prey (Lucas Davenport #24) and can't wait to read more going forward as well as to catch up on earlier titles.
