Jaroslav Tuček She was trying to save as much of the railroad as possible for the time when the system collapses - which she thought would be soon anyway.

As to her moral "right" to return to the valley, she never had such a thing. There is but one objective right - to your own life - and Dagny's return to the valley would rest on the owner's - Mulligan's - willingness to let her in, not on any right. Since Mulligan's willingness would depend on nothing else but his judgment of Dagny's value, she probably has little to fear...
