Werepenguin Productions If you are asking if the book has killing in it, yes it does.

If you are asking why it has killing in it you would have to ask the Robert Kirkman. In interviews though Kirkman has stated that he wanted to explore the zombie survival phenomena over a long period of time. Most zombie narratives last only a few days (captured by the length of a movie or trilogy) or at least this was the case when Kirkman started The Walking Dead. To keep a zombie narrative going over a period of years it seems reasonable that character(s) would have to kill zombies, or predatory humans, to survive.
