Shruthi Nope. Anna and the French Kiss is a drastically different book from Wish You Were Italian. Really the only thing similar is the fact that the main character is American and is going (against their will) to another country. And they are both romances. In my opinion, Anna and the French Kiss is much more developed character wise.
Kristin Yes and no. ANNA is one of my favorite books, and it helped inspire me to finally write a sweet romance set in Italy, as I'd always wanted to do. But my main character, Pippa, doesn't attend a school there--instead, she sets off on an adventure across Italy.
