Writer's block usually means, at least to me from my editorial experience, that I'm not ready to write the scene yet. I will leave it alone for a few days, forget about it then go back and write it. Sometimes, it will take a week or more to find the answer. However, if it's something I just can't figure out, I've realized the answer is usually right in front of me, on the page somewhere.
