What reading age would you say this book is suitable for? I have never read this however my son has been given it as a home reader. He is a good reader but i think the themes and language may be over his head. TIA

I read it when I was 12. I think it's alright for middle school to high school children.

I read this book at about 11, there are some scenes of very graphic violence. If your child is sensitive, perhaps a little older is better.
