I have finished this book and couldn't see the connection to one of the victims to why she was also murdered.I may have to reread some of it in case I missed the reason. Did anyone else have the same problem?

This is a spoiler. Do you mean the murder of farmerswife? If so, she had noticed inconsistencies in the murderer’s posts after he/she took over the ID of the murdered woman. So she had to go.
