I like this book Thirteen Reasons Why because it is interesting and makes you want to read more and more as you go.I feel that Hannah Baker is a antisocial person but why didn't she stand up for herself when rumors were being spread about her ? Did Hannah have things going on at home that made her not want to stand up for herself and tell people that what Alex said was a lie.

Caylee Well this story is set in a present day high-school situation where it is hard for people so low on the "social food chain" to reject something someone higher then her is saying. Sadly, even if she did say something, not many people would take her side on it because people love rumors so they can make themselves feel better.
