Should I keep reading it? I'm at 12% and it's hard to keep paying attention because it's a bit slow and uneventful. Does it get better later? Or is it not a book for me and I should stop?

Ciarán Lumsden Yes keep going, I found it a bit too slow until about half way, but its not until the last third that it really starts to make an impact. That said I used to be a bit of a fanboy of Ishiguro in my teens, so I know the wait is usually worth it. His books progress, but don't resolve so don't expect any definite endings, but the endings do stay with you.
