Try a Haiku. Those poems are short and sweet. The first line has five syllables, second has seven, and the third line goes back to five. Here's an example (not mine):
Relax, the future
is already unfolding
from log-planted seeds
ps. they don't need to rhyme and each line can be its own sentence or the whole poem can be a sentence.
