I wanted it to blow me away. It didn't. It's not bad, it's just occasionally casually brutal, but in the end I didn't care about any one of the characters. So you're not alone!

I couldn't get into it either, and I finished it. It was artsy for the the sake of being artsy, and I found the use of the comic book as a connector to be ridiculous. Are your a dystopian fan? If so, that might be why you can't get into it. I am a huge dystopian fan, and there are so many other books in the genre that are so much better!
