Probably 11+ , but it depends on maturity. I read this book when I was 8 or 9 (I was a very advanced reader)! , and didn't have a problem with it. There is violence/gore, but nothing extreme.

Yeah, i'd say around 12 as well... there are some violent scenes, no cursing or sex scenes or anything like that, but if you don't like violence, you probably won't like a few of the scenes in here...
