Goodreads asked Bruce Bradley:

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Bruce Bradley In 2005 I was working as Winemaker for William Harrison Winery. My late ex-wife (who died in 1999) began to haunt my dreams. Some of the dreams were X-Rated, many of them were unhappy. In one dream I felt sad, because I needed to tell her, "I divorced you...and you died. You need to leave me be." Before I had a chance to say that, she turned suddenly and said with some urgency, "I need you to do me a favor!" When I asked what the favor was she said, "I need you to wake up!" And I did wake up. This happened over and over. I finally decided to write a story about a winemaker who's late ex-wife haunts his dreams, and gets him involved in a murder mystery. It's called "The Tribe".
