sadly, there was not enough. Just little things, but they make he book unrealistic. A shame, as the story is no bad. But I'm irritated because it's the same in all the book. Doerr's was not better!

I was hoping the author would include a section at the end about her research, but no such luck. I love reading about the research author's do for their books; the tidbits they discover and incorporate into their stories or real life people or events that serve as inspiration.
