Do you "make up" the characters and flesh them out how you'd like or do they come to you and you just put them and their personalities to paper?

Kathy Miner They come to me, Alyssa, usually fully formed - I don't have a lot of say in how they develop most of the time! That's how I know when the story and characters are really working - I feel like I'm just along for the ride, watching and recording the action as it happens.
