Is this story too graphic for a Tender-hearted animal lover? Opinions, please.

Barbara This is an important book. Yes, it contains some difficult truths about shelters (mainly in the South) that kill a lot of dogs rather than try to get them adopted. It also gives you hope that this situation is changing. It is the story of one dog and his owner, a journalist, who adopted Blue and then wanted to find out how he was sent North to be adopted.
