Nothing you write is ever stupid. Save it because you never know when you'll come back to it. Keep those ideas, no matter how small somewhere. If you like to be organized, figure out some system for organizing and/or tagging. Come back later and see what fits with what. You never know where inspiration will come from and often the best comes from ideas you've discarded.
