I'm sure writing a book a year is faster than most can manage; while I know the Alex Rider series to be finished after 9 books, the 10th being about Yassen Gregorovich. It's no sure thing that the Percy Jackson series is finished. James Steed is only four books, have you read Cirque Du Freak? It's finished and also enjoyable.
