D.J. MacHale Hmmm...it's tricky answering this without giving away spoilers. Let's see if I can answer without giving much away. From what you've read in SYLO, Feit is getting people to use the Ruby for its positive benefits. But as you've learned, there are some really negative side effects. What you will learn in STORM is why Feit was providing/promoting the Ruby. But besides that, it's also a bit of a comment about the real life controversy surrounding performance enhancing steroids. It's tempting to use them, but at what cost?
