Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Mike O'Sullivan My wife discovered a published Government Report in Nottingham Library 'The Great Tullamore Whiskey Fraud' and mentioned it to me knowing that my grandfather had been the Excise man at Tullamore Distillery.

I researched and found wads of documents in the Public Records which sparked my imagination. The case was bizarre and farcical yet full of injustice. I just had to turn it into a story.
